ESIF Microloan for OBS no. 69/29804 with Beneficiary VANADO d.o.o., Zagreb
PROJECT TITLE
MEASUREMENT CHAIN FOR WATER QUALITY ANALYSIS IN MARICULTURE SYSTEMS
January 17, 2021
Short Project Description:
The project includes the transfer of expert and technical knowledge to establish a real-time monitoring system for mariculture farms (with emphasis on water quality). The applicant currently offers business process software development services, and this project would expand the service offering with a new solution. The proposed service continues a previous collaboration in aquaculture, initiated through the innovation voucher “Study on the Impact of Fish Quantity on the Operation of Aquaculture Farms,” forming a comprehensive solution. Collaboration with a scientific-research organization strengthens the applicant’s capacity for research, development, and innovation, providing necessary support for innovation development and commercialization in the mariculture sector.
Project Goal:
Theoretical basis for developing a real-time monitoring system for water quality in mariculture farms.
Total Project Value:
131,250.00 HRK

Project implementation period: November 2021 – January 2022
PROJECT TITLE
ANALYSIS OF TECHNICAL AND OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SHIPS IN COASTAL NAVIGATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA - PHASE II
February 5, 2021
Short Project Description:
The project includes the transfer of expert knowledge related to determining operational energy efficiency indicators of ships in coastal navigation in Croatian territorial waters, as a continuation of a previous collaboration under the innovation voucher scheme (Phase II). Vanado d.o.o. aims to expand its services to the maritime sector, where FSB has already prepared a study on technical and operational characteristics of coastal ships. In Phase II, a mathematical model will be illustrated using a typical ship example to evaluate vessels based on economic and ecological criteria via a life-cycle assessment.
Project Goal:
To conduct an analysis of technical and operational characteristics of ships in coastal navigation in the Republic of Croatia.
Expected Results:
The project aims to successfully transfer knowledge from a scientific-research organization to improve the applicant’s expertise in energy efficiency and environmental performance of coastal vessels, considering the broader operational context. This includes life-cycle emission and cost analysis of ship energy systems, as well as potential regulatory changes (e.g., future introduction of carbon taxes). The acquired knowledge will be directly applied to develop modern software solutions for the maritime sector, offering a competitive and innovative service.
Total Project Value:
131,250.00 HRK

Kratki opis projekta
Cilj projekta:
Provesti analizu tehničkih i operativnih značajki brodova u priobalnoj plovidbi u Republici Hrvatskoj
Ukupna vrijednost projekta
125.000,00 kn
